E. Shawn Bringloe, CA - Partner
altShawn was born in Halifax, NS and raised in Fredericton, NB. He obtained his BBA degree in 1983 from UNB and went on to achieve his CA designation in 1986. After graduation Shawn worked with two national accounting firms during which time he gained valuable experience and was afforded the opportunity to specialize in his field of interest. In 1991 he completed the CICA In-Depth Tax Course and in 1993 he left the national firm to concentrate on developing his own client relationships. Shawn thoroughly enjoys his chosen career and is proud of the firm’s ability to be recognized by its clients as a trusted business advisor and partner in their success.

Over the years Shawn has taken the time to be involved in his profession and community by volunteering his time. He has been involved in numerous NBICA committees and sat on council for a three year term. He has filled the role of treasurer for several local non-profit organization including Big Brothers, Characters Incorporated, the Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival and is currently on the Board of the Fredericton Convention Centre.

Shawn is married to Janine and has two beautiful daughters, Sasha and Chelsea. When not advising clients you might find him travelling with his family and friends or trying to lower his handicap on a local golf course.

John E. Feeney, CA – Partner

altProud to hail from Bath NB, John graduated from St. Francis Xavier University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1980 and achieved his CA designation in 1983 having received the highest marks in Nova Scotia. He joined the firm in 2001 after 12 years with KPMG, two years in private industry and six years as a sole practitioner. John serves a variety of clients in accounting, audit, financing, start-ups and business and strategic planning.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Wilson L. G. Donovan, CA - Partner

altA native of Ingonish NS, Wilson graduated as university medalist for the Bachelor of Business Administration program at St. Francis Xavier University in 1974 and achieved his CA designation in 1977. He joined the firm in 2002 after 22 years with Price Waterhouse and KPMG and six years as a sole practitioner.

Wilson serves a wide variety of clients in accounting, audit, financing, start-ups and business and strategic planning.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Robert F (Bob) Wood, CA - Senior Manager

altBob is a native of Moncton, NB and received his CA designation in 1978. He joined Bringloe Feeney in September of 2006. Except for a brief stint in industry, Bob has been in public practice full time since receiving his CA designation and has been a partner in local firms in Medicine Hat, Alberta and Belleville, Ontario.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jennifer  Ward, CA

alt Jennifer graduated from the University of New Brunswick with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours in Accounting) in 2008, and joined AC Bringloe Feeney fresh out of university in 2008.  She attained her CA designation in 2011.

 

Jennifer is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, and the New Brunswick Institute of Chartered Accountants. Jennifer is also a member of the AC Group Accounting Standards Committee, and the AC Group ASCA Resource Group.

 

 

 

 

 

Kendra Cahill

 altKendra joined Bringloe Feeney in early 2012 and is currently working towards her CA designation.  Prior to switching careers, Kendra worked in the environmental science consulting industry for more than eight years.  She has a Masters in Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science. 

Kendra is actively involved in several charitable organizations including serving as treasurer of the Fredericton Sexual Assault Crisis Centre and a member of the Atlantic Board of Directors for Nature Conservancy Canada.

 

 

 

 

 

Matthew Mahoney, CA
altBorn and raised in New Brunswick, Matt graduated with distinction from the University of New Brunswick in 1999 with a BBA and from the University of Reading (England) in 2001 with a Master’s degree in Finance.  He achieved his chartered accountancy (CA) designation in 2005 and completed the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants In-depth Tax Course Parts I and II in 2008. 

Matt joined the firm in 2010 after working nearly four years in the tax department of a national firm. Prior to that, he worked with another AC member firm for four years. Matt specializes in the area of tax which allows him to provide a comprehensive range of tax services to individuals, corporations and trusts always with the focus on providing clients with workable solutions that meet their business and personal needs.    Matt is happily married and he and his wife Kathy enjoy maintaining an active role in the greater Fredericton community.

Patricia Buchanan, CA

altPatricia graduated from the University of New Brunswick with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2001, with concentrations in human resources and accounting.  Patricia joined AC Bringloe Feeney in 2012, after working with a national firm for several years. She attained her CA designation in 2006.

 

Patricia is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, and the New Brunswick Institute of Chartered Accountants. 

 

Patricia is married, and has two young children.  In her spare time, she enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and volunteering with her children’s various activities. 

 

 

  Shannon Gorman, CA

altShannon has been with AC Bringloe Feeney since 2008, and graduated from the University of New Brunswick with a Bachelor of Business Administration. She attained her CA designation in 2012.

 

Shannon is married, and is currently on maternity leave with her first child, Julia.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Shannon Haines, CA

altA life-time resident of Fredericton, Shannon graduated from the UNB in 1999 with a BBA and achieved her CA designation in 2002. She joined the firm in 2012 after working with the provincial government for 2 years.  Prior to that, she worked with a national firm for 10 years.

 

Shannon works in the audit and assurance area and has previous experience with many types of clients .

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Steven Vezeau

altSteve was raised in Hartland New Brunswick,  moved to Fredericton in 2005 to attend the University of New Brunswick. Graduating with First Class Honors on the Dean’s list, with a Bachelor in Business Administration, Steven received a major in Accounting and Economics and a concentration in Marketing. He joined Bringloe Feeney in May 2010 and began  the ASCA program in pursuit of his CA designation shortly thereafter. Steve successfully passed the UFE in 2012 .

Steve enjoys hiking, biking, and trail running in the summer months, and remains active in the winter by attending a fitness center and playing floor hockey.

 

 

 

Susan Knorr - Senior Accountant

altSusan joined the firm in 1987 and has seen a number of changes over the years.  She is always ready to lend a helping hand to clients, co-workers and the community. 

Susan is married with two daughters and two adorable shih-tzus  .

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tina Fabro - Office Manager

altTina started with the firm in January 1998, after working in the non-profit sector.  As Office Manager Tina keeps the business running smoothly and especially enjoys interacting with all our clients and community partners.
